I am a Ph.D. candidate in political theory at the University of Toronto's Department of Political Science.
My research sits at the intersection of normative political theory and political economy. I study how theories of justice and democracy can be better attuned to the conditions of contemporary financial capitalism (and vice versa).
My dissertation, A Critical Theory of Global Finance applies the methods of critical social theory to offer a unique perspective on the nature of money and its management under capitalist financial systems.
Prior to my doctoral studies, I completed a M. A. in philosophy at Queen's University (2018) and a B. A. Hons. in philosophy and political science at McGill University (2017).
